What is Intermittent Fasting?

Intermittent Fasting is a popular way for people to lose weight. But how does it work?

Simply put, it works by reducing the window of eating opportunity, which reduces the number of calories that can be consumed. This creates a calories deficit and leads to weight loss.

The average person will generally eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, often with snacks in between. In general, this will be consumed between 8am and 8pm.

Intermittent fasting works by limiting the eating window, by only being able to consume calories between 12pm and 8pm.

Suddenly you’ve knocked 4 hours worth of calories out of your diet. This creates a calories deficit and causes weight loss.

If this works for you great! If it doesn’t, don’t worry! There are other options available! 💪🏼
